Try a Little Something Different for Wedding Music
For me, the best wedding songs are the ones that are appropriate, but also fresh. It seems like every wedding I go to plays the same song. Like there’s a Wedding Song CD out there that all my newlywed friends have. I mean, is there? It sure seems like it. Anyway, if there could be a tiny shift towards a different wedding CD that would be great. I understand it’s about the bride and groom and that they should get to play whatever they want on their special day, but it would be nice to hear something other than Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl.” This is a celebration, right? I’m assuming you want people to be happy and enjoy the whole reception thing. If so then try a few tunes that are out of the ordinary. It doesn’t have to be experimental drone music, but there are too many good songs about love for people to get hung up on just one or two.
